STARTED FEBRUARY 24 2013, GLO WRLD WAS FIRST CONCIEVED AS THE EPITOME of DOPE (T.E.D.). IT WAS BUILT TO BRING BACK THE NOSTALGIC FEELINGS OF FOUNDER DAVE SCOTT'S CHILD HOOD THROUGH FASHION & DESIGN. ANOTHER GOAL OF DAVE'S WAS TO REINCARNATE KANYE WEST'S DROPOUT BEAR INTO A MASCOT OF HIS OWN, SO HE CAME UP WITH THEODORE RUXPIN III AKA TED THE BEAR. THIS WAS A PLAY ON THE TEDDY BEAR MOTIF AS WELL AS TEDDY RUXPIN A POPULAR TOY FROM THE 80s AND 90s. T.E.D. WAS CONSERVATIVE IN THAT IT ONLY FOCUSED ON CLOTHING. FOR DAVE IT WAS TIME TO EXPAND THE BRAND INTO SOMETHING MORE PURPOSEFUL.

A FEW YEARS LATER T.E.D. DEVELOPED INTO TEDDYS WRLD. TEDDYS WRLD WAS THE UMBRELLA FOR ALL OF DAVE SCOTT'S ENDEAVORS AND DOUBLED AS A PARRALELL UNIVERSE FOR THE BACK STORY OF TED THE BEAR. UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF TEDDYS WRLD DAVE WAS ABLE TO INCLUDED ALL THINGS ART AND THE COMMUNITY THAT HE WAS CREATING FOR. THIS WAS STILL PLAYING SMALL THOUGH. AND IN 2022, TEDDYS WRLD PIVOTED TO GLO WRLD. GLO WRLD IS A MECCA FOR THE CURATION OF LIFE. THE GOAL IS TO NOW EXPAND ACROSS THE WORLD BEING ABLE TO SHAPE ALL THING GOOD AND BAD INTO THINGS OF BEAUTY.

AS IT STANDS TODAY, GLO WRLD’s PURPOSE IS TO CREATE ART CURATED AS APPAREL SO CREATORS CAN STRIVE TO STAND OUT AND BE GLORIOUS.
